An unusual book
I catalogued this book for UCLA. It was written at a time when the manual arts movement was just getting started in educational institutions.
Miller's work is unique. Not just fun, it is an ideal candidate for reprinting. Many fathers would like to have a weekend project for their sons and making kites would be an ideal lesson in tools, mechanics, winds aloft, and many useful lessons for grade school aged (and older) children.
